Brasserie Uncle is a micro-brewery located on the North Shore of Brittany in France. This region has been home to many explorers and sailors. Benjamin Lory created a bespoke typography based on the Nautical Flag Alphabet to express the adventurous side of the craft brewery. Combined with archival images of Brittany, the bold and contemporary font helped to position the young brewery as both traditional and intrepid.
